Default Use that Fire-Earth combo dammit!!

The Earth Burner

Attributes:

Earth:11
Fire:15
Energy:10

(think so)

Skills:

Ward Against Foes
Bed Of Coals
Unsteady Ground (E)
Aftershock
Flameburst
Ward Against Melee
Earth Attunement
Res Sig

It works by slowing foes with WaF, then put Bed Of Coals and Unsteady Ground: watch the crazy damage while they attack you and get burned. When their asses hit the ground, aftershock and Flameburst for great damage. WaM for defense purpose, Attunement for some energy management.

I tested it on TA and on RA; with the right people it worked very fine, annihilating 2 wars and a touch necro pestering me in about 6 seconds.

Try it, it's fun!

I guess the key here is that your opponents need to be attacking you for this to work effectively.

It's more of a "trap" build in PvP, without much other utility if your opponents aren't attacking you...I guess that's the base limitation with it. Otherwise, it's a good concept!

Check out the build I just posted - I think we had some similar thoughts (i.e. Bed of Coals/Ward Against Foes), but my build may be a bit more proactive.

I have a feeling that we could use concepts from both of these builds to make a pretty effective Fire knockdown specialist.

Yes, it's quite a trap, but it's also an effective way to protect your monk(s) from warriors, touch, bunny hoppers and sins
